BLUE OCEAN DOUBLEBRAID 8mm - MARLOW
More details
More details
MARLOW's DOUBLEBRAID is a heat-set double braided polyester rope, a treatment that reduces its elasticity. Its low elasticity (for a rope of this type) and its soft feel make it a versatile rope. Thus, it can be used at all positions on board, as a sheet, halyard, furler line or reefing line.
This rope, due to its construction, is very easy to splice. You can therefore avoid the use of knots, which increases the strength of the rope and also prevents chafe/jamming during maneuvers.
Also suitable for halyards thanks to the heat-setting treatment that reduces elongation. Suitable for multiple uses on board.
(≈ 10.5% elongation at 50% of breaking load and 16% at break for DoubleBraidØ12mm)
