Our tips for choosing

Security

The vest must provide buoyancy in case of a fall, in a position that keeps the head clear of water. The 50N rating is suitable for users up to 150kg. Junior models generally have an index of 40 to 45N.

Comfort

Light and well fitted, the vest should be forgotten, offering total freedom of movement when maneuvering or going on the trapeze, so as not to get caught in the boom or pulleys. Some models are particularly thin, and have a loop to pass the trapeze hook through, to prevent it from riding up ensuring a perfect fit. One or more front pockets can also be useful for carrying a map, a phone, a knife or a banana for example, but be careful, all of this can end up in a mess or hurt if you fall on the pocket!

Solidity

Durable canvas, neat seams and robust closures ensure prolonged use despite salt and friction.

Style

You might want to have some; bright colours combine aesthetics and safety. However, there is no need to take this into account if you plan to wear an overtop over it, to contain the straps or spread out possible attachment points, or simply to wear your club's colours.
